We are asking for your support for the European Iron Club 2024 in Toulouse, France, hosted by Drs. Delphine Meynard and Léon Kautz for April 23 to 26, 2024.
The European Iron Club has hosted dozens of meetings for iron-minded clinicians and scientists for more than 50 years, and we have recently grown in size so that >300 delegates from around the world are expected for our Toulouse event.
The conference will strive to integrate basic research into iron biology with clinical practice and new therapeutic options relating to disorders of iron homeostasis. The meeting is a unique opportunity to foster collaboration across different iron-related fields. We will start the meeting on Tuesday, April 23 with Master Class programme, which has a clear clinical and therapeutic focus, is dedicated to invited lectures by colleagues who do exciting work relevant to BioIron. We will also have a large number of plenary session talks selected from submitted abstracts, allowing young investigators to present their works.
Poster walks will enable personal interactions between young and more senior scientists. Additionally, we will award special prizes for outstanding oral and poster presentations by trainees.
